Privacy Policy
The privacy policy for miklix.com details how personal information is used, stored and processed on this website. I strive for full transparency, so please let me know if anything is unclear.
By default, this website does not collect, track, store, use or process any personal information about its visitors.
However, any and all information you choose to submit via any form found on this website, may be stored on the server and possibly transferred to other computer systems under my control indefinitely, unless specifically stated otherwise on the individual page in question.
I will honor all requests to remove any personal information within reasonable time (i.e. your right to be forgotten), but please do also consider what kind of information you choose to submit and try to avoid submitting sensitive information.
I will not give or sell submitted information to third parties, unless the information itself, the way it was submitted, or the apparent intent behind submitting it, appears to be outright illegal, in which case I may and will hand it over to law enforcement authorities.
The social media icons displayed on this website are hosted locally on this server and does not retrieve cookies from the social media sites in question.
Technical information, such as IP address, browser version and time of visit is logged by the web server as part of standard operations. These logs are kept for up to 30 days and are normally only reviewed in case of suspected abuse or other malicious activity.
There is also a simple page counter in place, which counts the number of visits to each page on the site. This counter does not log any information about the visitor, it just increments a number when a visit happens. It serves no other purpose than giving me an idea of which pages are most popular.
The website does make use of third party integrations for statistics and advertising (provided by Google), which may handle personal information in ways outside of my control. If required in your area, you should be presented with an option to accept or decline this when first entering the website.
In particular, Google requires that the following information be made explicitly available here:
- Third party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on users' prior visits to this website or other websites.
- Google's use of advertising cookies enables it and its partners to serve ads to users based on their visit to this site and/or other sites on the Internet.
- Users may opt out of personalized advertising by visiting Ads Settings.
