Elden Ring: Black Knife Assassin (Deathtouched Catacombs) Boss Fight

As you may know, bosses in Elden Ring are divided into three tiers. From lowest to highest: Field Bosses, Greater Enemy Bosses and finally Demigods and Legends.

Black Knife Assassin is in the lowest tier, Field Bosses, and is the end boss of the small dungeon called Deathtouched Catacombs found in Limgrave. Like most lesser bosses in Elden Ring, this one is optional in the sense that you don’t need to kill it to advance the story.

This boss is an agile fighter that seems very adept at avoiding ranged attacks, so melee is the way to go. It seemed like a pretty easy fight to me, but to be fair I was probably a bit over-leveled as I was just going through dungeons I missed before moving on through Stormveil Castle.

I have no idea why she appears to start with less than full life, but hey, less work for me, so no complaints. I even managed to get a juicy backstab on her, making the video a bit shorter than I had intended. I don’t think she liked that very much ;-)
