Elden Ring: Omenkiller (Village of the Albinaurics) Boss Fight

Omenkiller is in the lowest tier of bosses in Elden Ring, Field Bosses, and is found outdoors near the Village of the Albinaurics in Liurnia of the Lakes. Like most lesser bosses in Elden Ring, he is optional in the sense that you do not need to kill him to progress the story.

As you probably know, bosses in Elden Ring are divided into three tiers. From lowest to highest: Field Bosses, Greater Enemy Bosses and finally Demigods and Legends.

Omenkiller is in the lowest tier, Field Bosses, and is found outdoors near the Village of the Albinaurics in Liurnia of the Lakes. Like most lesser bosses in Elden Ring, he is optional in the sense that you do not need to kill him to progress the story.

If you have encountered Nepheli Loux on the way to the village, she will be available for summoning for this fight. I was completely unaware that a boss would spawn in this location, so when I spotted a summoning symbol on the ground and then saw it was for my homegirl, Nepheli, I figured she’d appreciate another chance to stand between me and a beating. Afterall, she managed to get herself killed during the Godrick fight, so I had to risk my own tender hide to finish him off, but she’s obviously alive and well and ready for more action now.

Having Nepheli present makes this boss fight completely trivial as she does most of the work if you let her. She even got the killing blow on the boss because I was off to the side to get a well-deserved sip of Crimson Tears. What can I say, fighting makes me thirsty and Nepheli seemed really eager to prove herself, so being the benevolent hero of the story that I am, I let her ;-)

Always remember that it’s much easier to get by with a little help from your friends ;-)
