Scaly Misbegotten is in the lowest tier of bosses in Elden Ring, Field Bosses, and is the end boss of the small dungeon called Morne Tunnel on the Weeping Peninsula. It's a boss version of the regular misbegotten enemies you have encountered previously.
I apologize for the picture quality of this video – the recording settings had somehow gotten reset, and I didn't realize this until I was about to edit the video. I hope it's tolerable, nonetheless.
As you may know, bosses in Elden Ring are divided into three tiers. From lowest to highest: Field Bosses, Greater Enemy Bosses and finally Demigods and Legends.

You will encounter this boss after opening some big, wooden doors. I found it to be one of the easier boss fights in the game so far, but to be fair, it was the last one I did before I was done with Weeping Peninsula, so I was probably a bit over-leveled at this point.
The boss uses a very large axe in its attempts to split you into two halves of a Tarnished, but fortunately it attacks fairly slowly and doesn't have a huge health pool, so you should be able to manage. I even managed to get a juicy backstab on it, which actually cut this video a bit shorter than what I intended, but there you go ;-)
