Elden Ring: Tibia Mariner (Summonwater Village) Boss Fight

Tibia Mariner in Summonwater Village is in the lowest tier of bosses in Elden Ring, Field Bosses, and is found outdoors in the flooded Summonwater Village. This boss looks like a light purple or pinkish glowing ghostly skeleton, who at first sight appears to be sailing peacefully around in a small boat in the flooded streets of a village.
As you may know, bosses in Elden Ring are divided into three tiers. From lowest to highest: Field Bosses, Greater Enemy Bosses and finally Demigods and Legends.
Tibia Mariner is in the lowest tier, Field Bosses, and is found outdoors in the flooded Summonwater Village. Apparently, you can find other versions of this boss elsewhere in the game. I'll get back to those in other videos as I get to them.
You probably first hear about this boss from a knight called D, Hunter of the Dead, who is waiting some distance before the city. If you talk to him, you will get a quest to kill the Tibia Mariner. You can apparently also summon him to help you in the fight, but I couldn't find the summoning sign, so I made do without him.
This boss looks like a light purple or pinkish glowing ghostly skeleton, who at first sight appears to be sailing peacefully around in a small boat in the flooded streets of a village. But where did all the citizens of the village go, you might wonder. Well, I'm pretty sure that the pink ghost isn't so peaceful after all.
Indeed, as you approach him, he starts rocking the boat like some sort of drunken sailor in a slippery tub, searching for the last bottle of rum and even tries to lift the boat up in the air and slam it down on you.
His attacks are generally fairly slow and easily avoidable, so all in all he's not a particularly difficult boss. At least not without his little skeletal helpers.
On my first attempt against this guy, he summoned a lot of skeletons that helped him, and eventually I ran out of Crimson Tears and got overwhelmed, but for some reason he didn't summon any helpers at all on my second attempt, which made him a lot easier. I don't know if it's a bug or if something else was going on, but I didn't mind it as it made him a lot more manageable.
He teleports around the village randomly, but his pinkish glow makes him fairly easy to spot, so just run to him and start hitting him again. I suppose it would work quite well to use Torrent and engage him mounted, but at this point in the game I still prefer to fight on foot against most enemies.
